Your Relationship with yourself

You may be asking – why do we have to bother with a relationship with ourselves?

The question to ask is – Do I have talk going on in my head some or all of the time? If you do then the next question is – Who is talking to you?

Because we live with this phenomenon every day, we tend not to examine it. We would like to have good relationships with others and we take steps to have that. Is it not also desirable that we understand and improve the relationship we have with ourselves?

In this Learning Area much has been written and argued over the years. It used to be considered a religious area of concern, then science came along and more recently medicine has taken it over.  All of these groups have complicated issues and made them virtually impossible to be understood by the non-academic person.

Our aim is to provide some simple guidance to the main ideas so you can make up your own mind.
